\nThere really are a lot of Inazuma 1200 oil-cooled Katanas out there.<\/p>\n

Inspection, Watanabe, front maintenance + SKF& Newtech fork oil overhaul and polishing work requested.<\/p>\n

\nWe removed the rear suspension and sent it out for overhaul. We always ship precision parts like suspension and carburetors in an attach\u00e9 case rather than a cardboard box.
\nThis reduces the risk of water damage and I think it can handle being thrown around. Plus, we can reuse it.<\/p>\n

We’re already doing nothing but harm to the environment, so we try to be thoughtful in small ways.<\/p>\n

\nFinally, someone who gets it. This Inazuma 1200 oil-cooled Katana’s seat is fixed with two wing nuts. Taking it off is fine, but putting it back on is a real pain.<\/p>\n

\nWe quickly made a plate like this and wherever there was a gap, we did our favorite knurling (hole press).<\/p>\n

\nWe reused a tapered cap bolt that was lying around and fit perfectly.<\/p>\n

\nIt looks like this for now, still temporary.<\/p>\n

\nSnapped right in. Well, we’ve met the requirements.<\/p>\n

\nTemporarily fixed and tested the opening and closing. It works great.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Made the opening and closing arm simple<\/p>\n

\u2022 The tapered cap wasn’t sharp enough and wouldn’t go in just by pressing, so we remade it.<\/p>\n
