\nPins, wire, grip, and O-ring. The customer preferred Yoshimura grips, so we sourced those.<\/p>\n

The wire is our usual DIY approach.<\/p>\n

\nWe apply NC100 to the spigot without liquid packing and tighten it down.
\nThis is an O-ring that gets replaced after running a certain distance.<\/p>\n

\nWe cut the wire. Shimano’s tool cuts both the outer and inner cleanly. Since bicycles have all their wires custom-made, the quality of the genuine tools is naturally excellent.<\/p>\n

\nIt won’t fray without any wrapping.<\/p>\n

\nWe crimp the adjustment to secure it.<\/p>\n

\nLock it, solder it, and we’re done.<\/p>\n

\nIf you secure the throttle cable with cable ties, it affects operation, so it’s better to avoid them. Running it through something like a mesh tube keeps it parallel, resists chafing, and looks better. The outer length ended up being 650 mm.<\/p>\n

\nThe clearance with the tank isn’t great, so let’s tilt the holder down one notch.<\/p>\n

\nThat’s VERY GOOD now.<\/p>\n

\nOil change. We also removed and drained the cooler side. (Since it’s top-exit, it’s just about the hose volume.)<\/p>\n

\nThe drain is a genuine Suzuki 17 mm hex head with magnet. Iron is always good for drains.<\/p>\n
