\nWe had a request for tire, Newtech oil, and pad replacement.<\/p>\n

\nWe stripped the tires down. Cleaning the inside and applying light rust prevention keeps the wheels looking great and lasting longer.<\/p>\n

\nCleaning the inside of the inner tube and other areas like this and applying rust prevention really helps them last much longer.<\/p>\n

\nThe inside was in good condition with no rust.<\/p>\n

\nKeep the inside of the fender clean too.<\/p>\n

\nThere’s some mud buildup, but the operation and piston condition are both in good shape.<\/p>\n

\nDon’t run pads all the way down. The disk can wear unevenly, the piston extends too much, and it can seize up and cause uneven contact.<\/p>\n

Even if there’s still material left, if several years have passed, fresh pads will give you much better bite.<\/p>\n

\nHigh-performance RK pads. The best balance of price and performance.<\/p>\n

\nIt takes time, but we dig it out. Quite a bit of debris comes out.<\/p>\n

\nThe disk has dirt on it that you can’t see just by looking.
\nAlways clean the disk when replacing pads.<\/p>\n

\nWe replaced the oil and filter.<\/p>\n

\nWhile the oil is draining, wiping down the chain and frame sets you up for better maintenance down the road.<\/p>\n
