What is the Plasma Booster?<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
The Plasma Booster is an ignition tuning part that increases the secondary current value to approximately double by connecting to the ignition coil, and generates multiple sparks (multi-spark) three or more times instead of the usual single spark, thereby improving combustion efficiency. In particular, because these multi-sparks are generated in units of one millionth of a second, it’s possible to maintain multi-spark all the way into high RPM ranges. It maintains specs that can keep up even with fully tuned engines. It delivers results across a wide variety of driving scenes, from city riding to competition.

\nWe were asked to install a Plasma Booster on a Z750RS+ Watanabe<\/a>SP2, and we had the matching confirmed at Okada Products<\/a>, the distributor in the neighborhood.<\/p>\nEven for dual-coil setups, there are eight different patterns, and simply installing it as-is can sometimes cause performance issues, so it’s better to confirm the matching with an oscilloscope if possible.<\/p>\n
Also, since the unit differs between STD coils and Watanabe, it’s better to choose based on your future plans.<\/p>\n
By the way, with something like a CB1100 (SC65), I thought nothing would change, so I test-installed just one side and checked it with an oscilloscope\u2014and wouldn’t you know it, it ran milder.<\/p>\n
