\nFirst, we’ll clean the chain. Let’s make sure the rotation is nice and smooth.<\/p>\n

\nThe rear wasn’t spinning well, and when I tried to remove it, it was stuck tight.
\nThe piston is corroded too. Since washing won’t help, let’s disassemble it first.<\/p>\n

\nWe’ll need to do an OH on the caliper and master cylinder, so we started by polishing and prepping.<\/p>\n

\nThe hub damper and bearings look fine. The Gale Speed damper has a small capacity though.<\/p>\n

\nWe’ll clean the rear disc too. There’s quite a bit of debris stuck on it.<\/p>\n

\nMoving to the front. We’ll clean up the surrounding area too.<\/p>\n

\nWe’ll also wash and lubricate the speedometer cable.<\/p>\n

\nThe wheel bearings are fine too. Looking at aftermarket wheels, I wonder why they use the same bearings. If they increased the outer diameter while keeping the inner diameter the same, they’d be lighter and last longer. Or so it seems.
\nThey’re probably working within safe parameters.<\/p>\n

\nLet’s clean the caliper. We use a large brush to finish the outside quickly, and a round brush for the inside. A toothbrush would take too long.<\/p>\n

\nLet’s lift the dust seal and lubricate and clean inside.<\/p>\n
