\nPower was being drawn with a multi-tap and splice connectors.<\/p>\n

The proper way is to run power and ground in parallel\u2014that’s the cleanest layout you can achieve.<\/p>\n

\nAnyone looking at the wiring should be able to tell which is positive and which is negative.
\nLearn which end of a connector or terminal is the supply side before you start wiring.<\/p>\n
