\nThe inspection is already done, so let’s get the oil-cooled maintenance work done.<\/p>\n

\nThe engine damper looks like an original part. It’s quite worn from vibration.<\/p>\n

\nThe case wears down from vibration too, so inspection is necessary after a certain distance or time.<\/p>\n

\nThe later-model damper can be secured with bolts only and has excellent serviceability.<\/p>\n

\nI removed the generator damper for replacement, but the lock nut and washer are missing\u2014this is a problem.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s unclear whether the gear slipping caused it, but the gear has snapped.<\/p>\n

\nI removed the clutch assembly and looked around to see if it was anywhere\u2014checking carefully.
\nThere’s not much damage, so it seems to have gone somewhere without a trace.
\nI tried fishing in the oil pan with a magnet, but got no hits. I don’t think there will be major problems as things stand, but if the opportunity comes up, it might be worth checking the oil pan.<\/p>\n

\nThe housing and plate look fine as they are.<\/p>\n

\nI used a later-model clutch nut and locked it physically for peace of mind.<\/p>\n

\nThe clutch spring is secured with an M6 bolt, but it stretches excessively. So I made the bolt 5mm longer under the head and secured it that way.<\/p>\n

\nNow I can close the cover with confidence.<\/p>\n

\nThe generator connector had no corrosion, so I cleaned it and reused it.<\/p>\n

\nThe inside of the sprocket cover was a bit oily, so I cleaned it. Let’s use it and check the area.<\/p>\n
