\nWe roughly sketch out the layout with welding rod, then bend stainless steel round bar using a press.
\nThere are rules to bending. There’s a minimum pitch and maximum leg length that can be bent. We pay attention to keep things loose enough to allow some flexibility.<\/p>\n

\nWe skip the plates and collars. Weld it and we’re done. We’re running low on argon, so we’ve been stingy and it’s pretty scorched.<\/p>\n

\nAfter removing the burn marks and polishing, it’s complete. Parts that don’t shout for attention look clean and good.<\/p>\n

\nIt went together cleanly like this. For long-time customers, we do custom work. I’ll say it again: we’re not a custom shop, so I think having a shop that specializes in this kind of work do it will get you faster and higher quality results.<\/p>\n

\nI’ve always wondered why the screws under the screen aren’t fasteners. There aren’t many GSX1100S out there, so we’ve been putting it off, but what do you think?
