The spark plug cap has a crack. It’s using an aftermarket cord and cap with an intermediate connector, so let’s replace it with a coil assembly.<\/p>\n

The coil is on backorder with a delivery date in July. Since we can’t wait, I checked the same pitch part number from my notebook and arranged for it. I measured the coil resistance just to be safe. It’s the same, so we’re good.<\/p>\n

I’ll extend the horn bracket and hide it inside the fairing.<\/p>\n

The side stand was also in a very stiff condition. Smooth in and smooth out feels great now.<\/p>\n

It’s so beautifully finished that I’m being extra careful during installation.<\/p>\n

It’s hard to believe this is machine-bent\u2014it’s so beautiful. You can use it hard and get it dirty, and we can always refinish it later, so no worries.<\/p>\n

The muffler bracket had some scuff marks, so I polished it. If you prefer a shiny look, feel free to polish it up.<\/p>\n

Deco-mainte was also requested, but since there’s some overlap in the work, I only did what I felt was necessary. The test ride is complete and we’re done.<\/p>\n
