\nI painted the plate. The mirror mounting structure isn’t very good. It’s a design where screws and nuts clamp down on plastic with no stepped section, no rubber, and no floating mechanism at all. If you tighten it properly, it puts too much stress on it. I’ll use a lock nut to avoid putting strain on it, just snug enough.<\/p>\n
