\nLet’s fabricate a SUS mesh hose.<\/p>\n

\nI think everyone has different thoughts about SUS mesh hoses.
\nUsually, people are satisfied if the stock hose becomes mesh. If you’re only after function, that’s sufficient.
\nThe fittings you use make a huge difference in appearance and serviceability. I think the best approach is when the hose naturally forms a clean radius and offers good serviceability.
\nExamples not recommended
\n\u2022 The hose gets in the way and the caliper can’t be removed \/ fluid changes are difficult
\n\u2022 The hose is too long \/ twisted \/ under stress \/ difficult to disconnect
\n\u2022 The hose rubs badly somewhere during vertical stroke or when turning the handlebars left and right
\n\u2022 The mesh hose has no outer covering
\n\u2022 The TEE fitting is loose and all the parts are scratched up
\nThere are a lot of people who pay money to have it installed, get criticized for it, remove it, and buy a new one.
\nThe economy keeps moving\u2014I find it oddly interesting.<\/p>\n

\nHonestly, if you can’t use the front stand as-is, it’s tough.<\/p>\n

\nBy the way, we use double covering. Plus, the black mesh outer sheath is replaceable.<\/p>\n

\nYou need a length that gives a little slack when fully extended. Below the stem, there’s stroke, so the right length is critical. If you’re thinking about changing the handlebars in the future, we sometimes make just the upper side of the TEE longer.<\/p>\n

\nWe went mesh on the rear too. A long hose serves no purpose there.<\/p>\n

\nThis rear caliper is floating, so it shouldn’t normally mount, but we covered it with a special bolt for now.<\/p>\n
