\nI think there’s nothing that improves performance so dramatically unless something is seriously out of adjustment. The work is about measuring and setting things up, then checking for changes the next time around.<\/p>\n

There was no scuffing at all. With just over 20,000 kilometers on it, that’s about what you’d expect. That said, some bikes show scuffing before 500 kilometers. Unless there’s a specific problem, the cam and rocker arm just wear and become low-cam, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it. If it gets bad, the noise becomes really noticeable, so you’ll know right away.<\/p>\n

\nThe engine internals are clean. Bikes with poor oil maintenance have brown insides.<\/p>\n
