\nQuite a bit of corrosion there. After cleaning the caliper, if it’s stiff and doesn’t return well, you shouldn’t force it\u2014just go ahead and replace the seals.<\/p>\n

\nThe seal is being pushed from inside the groove and has lost its elasticity\u2014it’s hard as a rock. Rubber deteriorates quickly.<\/p>\n

\nWith Suzuki, you can just replace it with a piston seal set. That way the inside comes out nice and clean too.<\/p>\n

\nThe dust seal is a boot type, so it goes on the outside.<\/p>\n

\nSince we replaced the master, we relocated the hazard switch.

\nI couldn’t figure out how to make just the hazard light work, so we made the turn signals and hazard coexist. And since we couldn’t do that with standard bulbs, we combined the right and left with a Stanley diode and went with LED lighting instead. It looks a bit dimmer in comparison, but we didn’t have a brighter one on hand, so this is what we went with for now.
