\nBefore installation, you need to measure the amperage per coil (one at a time). The Plasma V Plus (16V) tolerance is up to 5A. If this value is not exceeded, it can be installed whether it’s Watanabe or Dyna.<\/p>\n

\nAt maximum, it’s about 2A at 3000 RPM, so there’s plenty of capacity.<\/p>\n

\nThis is the bracket that secures the unit. I used M5 bolts plus push rivets. The push rivets are just for positioning and preventing rotation. I didn’t see the point in double bolting, so I went with this method.<\/p>\n

\nThis location is meaningful because opening and closing the tandem seat lets you experience the 15.5V\/16.5V adjustment. We also need easy access to the safety connector in case of emergency.
\nWhen you replace parts, everything tends to feel good. Since you can easily return to stock, it’s nice to re-appreciate the difference.<\/p>\n

\nSimilarly, it’s about 2A at maximum. It would be nice to have an ammeter with peak hold, but I don’t have one.<\/p>\n

\nOne coil power 12V connection becomes unnecessary. It’s good to make things clear for others in the future as well. The safety connector is kept nearby, so it’s safe.<\/p>\n

Regarding aftermarket parts, I don’t think performance improves in a piecemeal fashion.<\/p>\n

If a vehicle’s potential is 100, normally it’s 70 or 80, and it approaches 100. I don’t think that by adding various aftermarket parts, the potential somehow becomes 300. Of course, the seller wants to make sales, so they only mention benefits. Considering not just performance but also installation and cost, merit and demerit are two sides of the same coin, and I believe there’s no such thing as a universal cure in this world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
