\nThe hub side looks like I applied grease to it before. Stock wheels are basically single-sided seals, so if oil gets inside, the bearing life can drop suddenly. When replacing, I’d recommend going with double-sided seals to be safe.<\/p>\n

\nThat said, there’s still oil present, so it’s not a problem for normal use.<\/p>\n

\nI’ll check the distance collar dimensions and note them down. It’s rare, but if someone messes with the collar size, it could be an issue, so I need to know the specs.<\/p>\n

\nWe’ll replace the oil seal too. It’s tight when you turn it by hand in this condition, so if we let it break in and assemble it properly, the collar won’t wear down.<\/p>\n
