\nThe oil cooler sits surprisingly far forward, and when turning full lock, the hose just barely touches it.
\nIt felt a bit off, so after mulling it over, I went with a simple approach: no core cover.<\/p>\n

\nThe theory that the muffler bracket should go on the back side? No\u2014it physically won’t work there. I added a spacer to push it back just a bit.<\/p>\n

\nFewer parts are better. I want solid contact, so I made it stepped.<\/p>\n

\nPushing it back caused it to touch near the tandem step, but I sorted that out\u2014all good now.<\/p>\n

\nThe mirror position looked a bit unbalanced, so I made a bracket to align it to the right, raise it slightly, and pull it forward. Aluminum is great\u2014so easy to work with.
\nStraight wouldn’t look right, so I made it triangular. Since it’s a free service, I kept the lightening holes generous.<\/p>\n
