\nFrom what we saw when we opened it up, it seems about right for the age. It’s in relatively good shape.<\/p>\n

\nCaliper actuation problems, especially return issues, are often caused by the dust seal dragging.<\/p>\n

\nWhile seal degradation can be a factor, the main culprit is usually corrosion in the body grooves. That corrosion builds up and pushes the seal inward from the inner wall, causing it to twist and drag, which is what creates the stiction.
\nWith anodized calipers, performance and condition tend to be relatively stable.<\/p>\n
