This is just my personal preference, but I favor the K model GSXR1100, followed by the J model. I really like that rugged, endurance racer look.<\/p>\n

The brake disk is a Sunstar Premium 5.5mm plus Zicoo.<\/p>\n

Depending on the combination of caliper and pad, there’s a possibility of issues arising, so actual measurement is always necessary.<\/p>\n

The caliper bolts are hollow with a flange, and they look great.<\/p>\n

Once things start looking clean, you start noticing the bottom case. I apologize that we couldn’t get it looking perfect with our shop’s equipment timing.<\/p>\n

The rear disk is also going Sunstar. The original is 6mm, but the Sunstar comes in at 5mm. Since I don’t want to extend the caliper pistons too much, I’m installing a pad shim. A lot of rear disks wear down quite a bit, so I’m really pushing this upgrade this year.<\/p>\n

We’ll also swap out the caliper bolts at the same time. We’re using OEM-sourced flanged cap bolts. The quality of parts from Y company is really high.<\/p>\n

We replace the rear master piston seal and polish the body to improve its appearance. The rear master is an area that hardly ever gets checked. I think this is a great plan for tackling the entire rear brake area all at once.<\/p>\n

We’ve converted all the undercowls to fastener-type. We’re currently reviewing the menu and pricing. We’re also working on a kit to convert the middle cowl to fastener-type as well, so we’ll let you know once it’s ready.<\/p>\n
