\nAfter discussion, we decided it was the right call to reset everything to stock first.<\/p>\n

\nThe exhaust pipe is clean but the silencer area is crushed.
\nThe exhaust pipe is dirty but the silencer is in better shape.
\nWe went with the latter option, and this is what arrived.<\/p>\n

It’s dirty, but it’s not at the level where holes are about to open up, so we’re good. If it runs well like this, we’ll send it out for proper painting.<\/p>\n

\nWe heated it up and gave it a quick rust-preventative spray.<\/p>\n

\nSuzuki’s OEM exhaust gas gasket is excellent. With a flange, it won’t fall out. The intermediate cushioning is just right, and there’s no exhaust leakage.<\/p>\n
