\nLet’s take a look at the primary reduction clutch housing. The clutch operation is smooth, and it’s in nice condition. Reassuring.<\/p>\n

\nOriginal friction plates. The thickness hasn’t changed much, but the friction material looks aged.

\nThe steel plates also show some wear.<\/p>\n

\nFCC friction and steel plates. Interestingly, the GSX1100S version doesn’t have the usual treatment on the steel side. The thickness changes and the plate count differs. Standard 10-11 becomes FCC 9-9, and the total thickness increases by 1.11 mm according to our calipers.<\/p>\n

With compatible friction and steel plates, the engagement will be good and power transfer will be solid.<\/p>\n
