\nFirst, I filed down something suitable to remove the dry bearing, and pop\u2014out it came.<\/p>\n

\nI wasn’t entirely sure, so I checked the brake side to confirm. It was just a press fit from both sides.<\/p>\n

\nThe assembly was like this. The pedal hole is also press-fit, yet it’s already worn loose and rattling.<\/p>\n

\nThe press-fit collar is also loose and rattling. So I made a collar with the same shape and pressed it in a bit tighter.<\/p>\n

\nI re-pressed the brake side and reused it. For the shift side, I installed a new sleeve and reused it. With the play resolved, there shouldn’t be any issues for a while.<\/p>\n

\nThe brake light switch M5 threads were stripped. With aluminum at T=3mm, that’s too risky, so I made a new one in stainless steel at T=3mm.
\nI didn’t add any unnecessary material.<\/p>\n
