\nThe ZRX1100 is a lightweight classic bike. It looks current because of the Daeg, but it’s already nearly 20 years old. A hose had broken, which is what brought it in for this service.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s in relatively clean condition, which is reassuring.<\/p>\n

\nThere’s minimal rust, and the condition is excellent.<\/p>\n
\nThe float valve is still going strong at 54,000 kilometers.<\/p>\n
\nI should clean all the parts with industrial cotton swabs. There’s quite a bit of buildup.<\/p>\n
\nI polished the exterior as a test sample.<\/p>\n
\nOnce I synchronized it, it felt fantastic.<\/p>\n
\nIt feels like a brand-new carburettor now, and I’m happy about that too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
