\nI’ve been seeing wheel bearings that are surprisingly tight lately. Some don’t even turn by hand, which is rare, but it’s amazing how they don’t break. I think about it every time. This time it was just an adjustment.<\/p>\n

\nThe caliper looks fine. With single-piston calipers, try to remove the boots and clean them as much as you can.
\nWater accumulates, the pins rust, and the operation becomes poor.<\/p>\n

\nInverted forks need inspection when removed. They’re in pretty rough shape.<\/p>\n

\nI cleaned it right up. Modern chemicals are convenient.<\/p>\n

\nThe grease around the levers has changed to something different.
\nSmooth input and return are ideal for the control system.<\/p>\n

\nThe shift side is direct, so only the brake. Disassembling it occasionally really helps.<\/p>\n

\nPoor sidestand operation puts you in a bad mood from the start. Smooth operation is best.<\/p>\n

\nFor some reason, the breather hose had come off. I wonder why.<\/p>\n
