It’s a mysterious washer that’s even sold at Yodobashi for some reason??
Rest assured, it’s properly made. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The thickness is 2mm and it’s a machined product, so the precision is pretty good.
It’s great to be able to get a thick washer with a small outer diameter relative to the inner diameter as a single item. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can use it nicely with a lock nut as a set like this.
Back in those days, the component configuration wasnut & washer & spring washer. <\/strong>
With so many parts involved,
removing the spring washer and using a lock nut is cleaner looking and more reliable. <\/strong>
I don’t really trust spring washers.
Honestly, they’re not used at all on modern motorcycles either.

Regarding spring washers, their anti-loosening effectiveness is now questioned,
and more effective anti-loosening nuts and wedge lock washers are increasingly recommended. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
