\nBasically we skip FI synchronization, but this time the running condition was so poor that we decided to adjust it.<\/p>\n

\nThe spark plugs showed discoloration you wouldn’t expect from a fuel-injected bike. Time for replacement.<\/p>\n

\nI can’t trust a plug cap unless it feels like it’s seating firmly. We apply metal rubber so it slides in smoothly, and use contact cleaner on the plug terminal area. We use it as an electrical lubricant.<\/p>\n

\nWe also replace the coolant and radiator cap. We use an NTK cap with pressure rating equivalent to the original.
\nI think it’s risky to casually use overly high-pressure caps.<\/p>\n

\nWe performed the synchronization. It’s subtle, but I think it makes quite a difference. By the way, it took just over an hour.<\/p>\n

\nThe adjustment screw in the center is buried pretty deep. We look with a mirror and apply an angled screwdriver before starting the engine.<\/p>\n

\nIf we did this frequently, we’d make a special tool for it, but opportunities are rare, so we’ll keep managing this way.<\/p>\n
