\nFor an air-cooled four-cylinder, thirty minutes is enough to strip everything down and complete the cleaning.
\nWe want the work to proceed quickly and smoothly.<\/p>\n

\nIf something’s in the way, we remove it without hesitation\u2014that’s the rule. We’ll also replace the throttle cable while we’re at it.<\/p>\n

\nThe battery terminals are reversed, it seems. We’ll lay out the harness and put the wiring on hold for now.
\nThis time the main harness is available new from the factory, which is fortunate\u2014if it weren’t, it would be a disaster. Adapting or reusing used parts takes significantly more time and cost than replacing with new, so it’s good to keep that in mind.<\/p>\n

\nThe customer asked us to inspect the clutch too. The primary reduction shows minimal step wear and is in good condition.
\nWe’ll replace the lock nuts and washers as well.<\/p>\n

\nIt’s hard to tell if it’s slightly burned or just dirty. Since we haven’t heard any slipping, we’ll reuse it.<\/p>\n
