\nWe swapped them out for the Dunlop tires you specified.<\/p>\n

\nWe replaced the front side first. I forgot to snap a photo of the engine oil.<\/p>\n

\nWhen installing a TMR or FCR, we stick with the stock setup unless there’s a good reason not to. The stock negative-pressure carb has a longer inner tube, so you can just trim it down. If you want to change the throttle opening, that’s a different story. Sticking with stock saves time and eliminates unnecessary parts costs.<\/p>\n

\nThe TMR tends to make contact, so we’ll file it down a bit.<\/p>\n

\nWe’re in the hang-the-carb camp. The stock setup is held in place by the air cleaner box too.<\/p>\n

\nWe used Norma hose clamps. The outer diameter came out to just under 52 mm, so we cut a 50\u201370 clamp to size.
\nSticking-out hose clamps are just as sad as a belt hanging loose.<\/p>\n

\nRemoving the air cleaner box leaves an ugly gap, so we made a barrel cover to clean it up.<\/p>\n
