\nIt’s still usable, but the intake manifold is also discontinued. It’s still functional, so that’s fine, but this Honda motorcycle will be challenging going forward.

\nJust because it has a ball joint doesn’t mean I can recommend using it at an angle. With this backstep configuration, it ends up this way, so there’s no helping it.<\/p>\n

\nDepending on the position, there are spots where it makes contact.<\/p>\n

\nTo use the limited stroke smoothly without waste, 90 degrees is best.

\n<\/a>The mounting position has minimal vertical travel, so there’s less stress.

\n<\/a>The structure of the drum-type backstep is also troublesome. With four components from the drum arm to the pedal, it becomes like a puzzle and you can’t use the ideal stroke position.<\/p>\n

\nIn the end, I reduced the stroke as much as I could on my own. It took about an hour and a half of repeated attachment and detachment to find a good position, and we settled on this as the limit. Since I’m doing this on my own, it’s completely unrelated to the requested work, but I think it turned out well.<\/p>\n
