\nIt’s a stock cafe racer. You really feel the difficulty of getting original parts.<\/p>\n

\nWe swapped the muffler for a Daishin unit. Looking at it now, that’s quite an innovative aluminum muffler\u2014it’s surprisingly lightweight, which is impressive, but the exhaust pipe section doesn’t seem to melt at all.<\/p>\n

\nThe customer asked us to remove a broken M6 bolt. Trying to drill in a spot like this by eye alone is the worst approach.<\/p>\n

\nThinking we might use it again next time, we made a neat little attachment that lets us drill perfectly straight.<\/p>\n

\nIt came off easily without any resistance\u2014not as dramatic as I’d hoped, but it worked out well.<\/p>\n

\nThe drum brake operation changes quite a bit depending on how this one part moves, so it’s definitely a spot we want to clean and lubricate when we disassemble it.<\/p>\n

\nThe customer wanted us to install a speedometer, and we gave it our best shot from the root, but it didn’t work out, so we went with a splice instead.<\/p>\n
