\n<\/a> No matter how you look at it, it won’t fit as-is. Since the unit is bulky, we secure space and fabricate a bracket. The actual fabrication is quick, but the time spent thinking through the layout, interference, and removal and installation takes longer.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a> We settled on this layout. There’s no worry about nuts falling off, and removal and installation should be easy.<\/p>\n

There are other fabricated parts, but I’ll skip those details.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a> The turn signals use internal grounding. It looks cleaner that way. I considered going with 040 gauge, but there’s no end to that rabbit hole, so we passed.<\/p>\n

\nReproduction parts are available, which is great for Z models. Still, there’s no doubt that the entire electrical system could be simpler with fewer wires. I think this is a bike that would have real demand if someone sold a complete solution that accounts for everything from top to bottom.<\/p>\n
