\nThe throttle return was sluggish, and we’d discussed whether it might be the carburetor, but when we checked it turned out to be secondary air leakage. I’m not great with these original-spec carburetors\u2014I always feel like they don’t quite dial in right. That’s just my impression, though.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>It’s set up with a power filter. Without the air cleaner box, there’s no rear support.
\nIt’s very heavy and quite long, so I recommend supporting it lightly to reduce the load. It’s a service tip, so forgive the simple approach.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>This time we went with NC50. I think you’ll see plenty of benefit from it.
\nIn my experience, engine oil settles in better after you’ve run it 50 to 100 kilometers following a change.
\nSince you’re replacing degraded oil with fresh oil, it naturally feels quieter and runs better.<\/p>\n

I think an oil that shows little variation in feel and performance from fresh to the point of degradation is the mark of stable, consistent quality.<\/p>\n
