\nWe shortened the throttle cable by creating a ferrule. Space under the tank is tight, so we had to go short.
\nNormally, the cable should be long enough that you can remove the throttle from the holder side for good serviceability. You wouldn’t want to have to loosen the carburettor side every time you do maintenance.<\/p>\n

Make sure the stopper holds firmly. Using a bolt that matches the throttle length keeps it lightweight and simple. No chance of assembly mistakes either.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a> The hose clamps are NORMA. Yoshimura used to recommend them. It’s a small detail, but long clamps look shabby, so we cut them down to keep things light and clean. Clamps with grooves for garden hose tend to bite in, so we don’t use those much.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a> The ETC antenna goes around here. We welded a hose clamp and nut, then fixed it with a plate. Flexible and adaptable.<\/p>\n
