\nThis is a Daytona brand headlight relay. You can make one yourself, but it’s faster to modify a purchased one, so that’s what we always do.<\/p>\n

\nWe can’t mount unnecessary items on our beloved bike. Lightweight, simple, and compact is the way to go.<\/p>\n

\nThis is the bracket that secures the relay. We don’t recommend relying entirely on cable ties for fastening.<\/p>\n

\nThere was an unused hole, so we’ll use it. If you weld a nut on the back, workability improves. Mounts where things keep rolling and falling off are disappointing.<\/p>\n

\nThink about the mounting first. Then consider removal and whether it will interfere with serviceability\u2014this kind of thinking pays off down the road.
\nManufacturer originals are well thought out; they’re generally removable and maintainable no matter who does the work.<\/p>\n
