\nI heard for the first time that the Uotani plug cord connection point has become crimped.
\nFrom the start, we haven’t been joining it using the unreliable method as explained, so I’m really relieved about that.<\/p>\n

\nI tried using the included crimp connector right away.
\nI have plenty of crimping tools, but none were specifically designated, and they said pliers would work too… and since I don’t have spares, this is the real deal right away, so it’s a bit nerve-wracking.<\/p>\n

Plus, the way you fold and clamp it means the crimp terminal reach is quite long, so I felt some concern about it, to be honest.
\nI’ll think about whether to use it next time.<\/p>\n

\nThe petcock is hitting it, so I need to do something about it. Welding it to the tank is a hassle to clean, so we’re skipping that this time.
\nI’ll use a BJ connector, which we normally use for oil lines. The outer diameter is 8 mm and the inner diameter is nicely spacious, so it works for fuel lines too.<\/p>\n
