\nI cut it up and bent it to look like this.<\/p>\n

\nThe frame on the side was removable, so I decided to fix it by welding. That completes the relocation.<\/p>\n

\nI made the cable using DURA-ACE and also fabricated a cable holder. I think it turned out nicely, even if it’s subtle.
\nPlease note that we do not accept work that is only machining or fabrication.<\/p>\n

\nI want to secure the fender. The CB1000SF bracket wasn’t quite right, so I sourced a VFR400R NC30 one that looked like it would work better.
\nThe arm position height is slightly different, which is frustrating\u2026<\/p>\n

\nThe CB1000SF is 15 mm, but this one is 17.63 mm, so I’ll thin it down.<\/p>\n

\nThe fender top surface has a complex shape, and my head was spinning, so I’m calling it a day.<\/p>\n

\nUsing cap bolts on a faired motorcycle compromises serviceability. Considering the angle a cap bolt can turn in one motion, hex bolts are superior.
\nIf you think not just about installing something but also about removing it when you install or fabricate, the subtle difference in the final quality is remarkable.<\/p>\n
