\nWhen I stopped by this morning, I realized we’ve had this since February\u2014my apologies for the wait.<\/p>\n

\nI’ve routed out the battery charging cable. It’s protected with a grommet, heat shrink, and mesh tubing, so there shouldn’t be any issues.
\nRouting the battery charging cable can go badly depending on the situation, so we take extra care to keep it safe.<\/p>\n

\nIt was making a loud clunking noise, so I added a damper. The old handlebar grip remnants work okay, but a damper with grooves in it works much better.<\/p>\n

\nI can’t recommend cable ties on the throttle cable. I understand the urge to bundle things up, but letting it move flexibly when you turn left and right leads to smooth operation.
\nSince it moves inside the tube, we basically don’t fix it with cable ties.<\/p>\n

\nWhen you want to raise the throttle cable position and have it move flexibly, we use an unconventional approach: crimp it in a figure-eight.
\nIt moves freely and slides smoothly.<\/p>\n

\nI’ve marked it with paint. The red arrow shows the direction. Sorry for a little overspray.
\nThe fuel petcock is easy to turn OFF if you remove the undercowl, but it’s tight with it on.<\/p>\n
