\nLet’s replace the cam. The standard one is also OEM for the GSX-R1100 K\/L. The IN and EX are discontinued. You can see the difference in valve overlap.<\/p>\n

\nThe cam and rocker arm appear to have WPC coating. They clean up nicely and feel smooth and pleasant.<\/p>\n

\nWe check and clean, then reassemble. I completely forgot to include photos of the old one.
\nBoth the cam and rocker are in great condition, and the engine internals were very clean.<\/p>\n

\nSince the engine is still installed, it’s tricky to mount the dial gauge in an ideal spot, and we end up having to start over from TDC after bumping the position rod. It’s frustrating.<\/p>\n
