\nIt was another hot summer day. Doraemon figures are multiplying.<\/p>\n

\nI didn’t come specifically to see Doraemon, but there were so many life-size figures that I couldn’t help but notice.<\/p>\n

\nI noticed the NEX7 didn’t have batteries in it. I’m glad the D800 was in my bag.<\/p>\n

\nLunch at my usual burger place<\/p>\n

\nI went with a sandwich.<\/p>\n

\nI need to get to Spain soon\u2014when should I go? Before that, I went to see “Gaud\u00ed\/Takehiko Inoue” as background knowledge.
\nThis single sheet of paper you find at bookstores gets you a 100 yen discount. My frugal nature never really goes away.<\/p>\n

Gaud\u00ed’s drawings have fine lines and excellent descriptive power\u2014I was amazed that such detailed work was possible a century ago. His various works incorporated the natural world around us\u2014animals, plants, and the undulations of waves and wind\u2014and
\nhe was a master at bringing them together. That’s how he must have been.<\/p>\n

The idea of the inverted hanging model that became the origin of the Sagrada Familia is amazing too. I can’t wait to see the real Sagrada Familia.<\/p>\n

\nYou can take a bus from Roppongi to Omotesando for just 100 yen. There’s no need to use the Ginza Line anymore.<\/p>\n

\nI thought about going to a soba restaurant, but the semi-basement shop flooded from the recent rain. No sign of recovery\u2014flooding leaves a smell, you know.<\/p>\n
