\nNow I’m mounting a tool bag on the cargo rack. I’m thinking about drilling holes and using weld nuts\u2014still considering it. For now, I’ll just position it.<\/p>\n

\nThe pitch and position are so misaligned I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, so drilling holes in this state is out. I’ll think of a different approach.<\/p>\n

\nI made a backing plate like this to prevent over-tightening. I also lightly threaded it because I don’t like having nuts fixed on the back.<\/p>\n

\nThe U-shaped piece is a bit tedious, but bending it so it catches improves installation.<\/p>\n
