\nThe ETC antenna is relocating again, this time to this location.<\/p>\n

\nThe headlight direct battery relay is a Daytona unit. It’s nice that the relay section is remote, but the sheathing, wiring, and relay are cheap\u2014you get what you pay for.
\nThe black sheathing has a large outer diameter, which is disadvantageous for routing, so I’ll strip it and cut away any unnecessary length.<\/p>\n

\nI’m fabricating a bracket and mounting it on the right side.<\/p>\n

\nThe wiring is messy, so I’ll organize it. It’s better to avoid co-terminating too many wires at the battery terminal.
\nWith DIY work, some compromise is inevitable, but having lots of wires co-terminated at the battery isn’t good for appearance or for battery removal and installation.<\/p>\n

\nGel tubes and spiral tubing increase the outer diameter, so I remove them all.
\nAs long as you don’t route them through pinch points or areas exposed to heat, you’ll get a cleaner look, the layout won’t feel heavy, and you’ll have more flexibility when arranging things.<\/p>\n
