\nIf the disc compatibility is good and the friction material grips well, both the lever effort and control become easier.<\/p>\n

\nSteel plates need to be checked for heat damage and warping. If they’re heat-treated, they tend to warp easily, and those spots won’t grip well.<\/p>\n

\nFriction plates can also become difficult to grip and slip if they’re worn thin or degraded. Replacing them as a set is the safest approach.<\/p>\n
