I got a tip about this. <\/span><\/strong>
I’ve been a bit away from the motorcycle industry lately due to a recent move.
I’m working again for the first time in over three months, so I’m still a bit rusty in some areas.

Anyway, setting that aside.
The FCC clutch kit for the oil-cooled GSX-R1100K~N has been restocked.
<\/a><\/span><\/strong>I really think this is truly the last time.
The clutch plates for the GSX-R series have a jagged shape that’s a bit special <\/strong>you know.
“Special = low compatibility = once sold out, that’s it” <\/span><\/strong>that’s how it went.

Against all odds, a resale <\/span><\/strong>even I was surprised.
OEM parts are still barely available, so we’ve been managing somehow.
But personally, I really want to use FCC <\/span><\/strong>you know.

If you haven’t replaced them since the bike was new, seriously you should replace them soon.
Steel plates get smooth and shiny <\/strong>
friction plates can peel off if you’re not careful <\/strong>.

It’s a set of steel plates, friction plates, and clutch springs. <\/a><\/strong>

You need to get them even if you don’t replace them right away.
Our shop can’t stock them individually either, so please make sure to keep them <\/strong>on your end. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what happens to old clutch plates? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As they age, like this, the friction material on the friction plates can peel off in chunks. <\/strong>
Of course the clutch won’t disengage properly, and it gets pulverized and mixed into the engine oil.

It won’t suddenly blow up, but it’s not heading in a good direction either…
Check it out before problems happen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading past articles, I noticed the OEM price hasn’t changed that much surprisingly.

If you replace it now, you’ll be good until you die, right? <\/span><\/strong>
Once you replace the clutch and properly break it in, the shift feel becomes incredibly smooth and soft.
