\n<\/a>The surface treatment on these inner tubes is really tough. Between the owner’s cleaning and everything else, there’s barely a scratch on them. We’re grateful for that.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>The engine slider mounting bolts keep coming loose, and the owner wants to fix that.
\nSince it’s bolted directly to POM plastic, the material gives way and won’t tighten properly. Thread-locking compound isn’t something we’d recommend here.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>We had spacers on hand that we use for floating mounts, so we enlarged the hole and pressed them in. That’s the better approach.
\nThis way the spacers won’t fall out when you remove things, which improves serviceability\u2014not that we take it apart that often, but it’s peace of mind.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>We changed the engine oil to Newtech NC50, of course.<\/p>\n
