\n<\/a>The rear brake switch sensitivity was poor, so we’re replacing it with a new Omron unit.
\nAdjustment is possible with an eccentric washer.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>It’s not the prettiest solution, but we welded a boss to the pedal to secure the eccentric washer.
\nWe made the eccentric washer and finished up. I wonder why they didn’t build it this way back then\u2014it really shows the difference in design thinking.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>We’ve replaced the meter with an AIM unit, so the speed gear isn’t needed. While we’re at it, we’re changing it to color.
\nWe could swap in a bearing with a different inner diameter for even better results, but there’s no end to that, so we’ll keep it standard. The 75 is nice though!<\/p>\n
