\n<\/a>The back side shows no signs of wear. I thought maybe we should rotate it occasionally, but the cylinder is aluminum cast.
\nIf we rotate it, it might rub again until a new contact mark forms, so\u2026
\nThere’s not much we can do to the master\u2014just clean it, apply metal rubber sealant generously, and insert it gently. <\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/a>The seal has been sitting in that tight space for so long it’s not “snappy” anymore. (The used one on the right)<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>The piston isn’t fully seated in the cylinder, but the condition is excellent.
\nAt times like this I always think about RX100<\/a>, but I’ll resist.<\/p>\n

\nThe hose to the reservoir tank is stiff, so once it arrives tomorrow we’ll install it and it’ll be complete.<\/p>\n
