Fed up with storing long materials like tubing and wiring
\nAll right! Let’s put it to use!<\/p>\n

What a mess\u2014just putting it in a box and separating it is better than nothing, but…
\nThere’s a lot of wasted space inside the box.<\/p>\n

Some box I bought yesterday at Muji while I was thinking it over
\nMeasured it, drilled holes, and made a center collar<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It closes perfectly, but the center collar’s outer diameter is too large, so it’s a no-go<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Used pipe to make something “small” with a “hollow” center<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I made it, and well, “it works pretty well”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It fits really nicely \u2605
\nDrawbacks
\n\u2022 Winding it is a hassle
\n\u2022 Can only wind about 3 meters… (I basically buy heat shrink tubing in 10 meter or 5 meter rolls.)
\nWell, it’s so-so. Not thrilling enough, which is disappointing.
