There were various little issues…

Intake manifold is wide open!
 
\n
 
Is that aluminum or something?
\nIs this a common leak spot?
\nLet’s replace the O-ring and seal and see how it goes.

Replaced the cam and clutch cable.
 
\n
 
It’s nice that you can remove this part.
 
\n
 
This thin spring breaks once in a while, doesn’t it?
\nWe replaced this area just to be safe.
 
\n
 
Is the countershaft center sleeve on the Z press-fit?
\nTo hold the center lip of the oil seal in place,
\nI painstakingly made this attachment, and that’s where we are today.
\nWe’ll finish it Wednesday and bring it in for inspection Thursday.
