Why?<br \/>\nBy the way, there was an 80W headlight bulb in there, so I switched it back to 60\/55W \u2192 maybe this fixes it?<br \/>\nBut when they got home it was no good?<br \/>\nThis morning again\u2014? Do I have to look at it again?<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s tedious, but I just have to verify each thing one by one.<br \/>\nLet me sum it up \u2605<br \/>\n\u2022 Voltage isn&#8217;t rising at all; it&#8217;s dropping.<br \/>\n\u2022 Looking from the top, the generator is spinning.<br \/>\n\u2022 The generator by itself isn&#8217;t generating power.<br \/>\n\u2022 Once in a while it generates about 3A?<br \/>\nSo\u2014<br \/>\nI measured the resistance on the regulators of both generators and tested the continuity of the circuits.<br \/>\nNothing seemed particularly wrong\u2026<br \/>\nThe oil-cooled and generator shapes are different, so\u2014<br \/>\nStaring intently at the inside\u2026<br \/>\nIsn&#8217;t the center off?
