\nWow, what a wild design! But why don’t Japanese manufacturers go with the flared type?

\nIf you mill the button head with a round bit, it looks like an MV screen bolt

I went ahead and drilled a hole
\nWeld nut M4\u00d73, the thicker one \u2605
\nNo need to secure it with a nut from the back, and it becomes floating too \u25ce
\nRouted the wiring so it doesn’t show

Full lock and it’s good to go
\nIt’s barely waterproofed, so it’s best to insert it in the direction that goes in easily
 
\n
 
So, how many amps maximum do you all typically draw from the cigarette lighter?
\nGPS and phone charging?
\nI wasn’t sure, so I played it safe and finished it at 1.25A for 250W.
\nPersonally, I think “thin wiring, small connectors” looks cooler.
\nThat’s what I believe.
