The other day I borrowed a Nikon F5 film camera and was blown away!
\nBeing able to use AF-S lenses is a huge help \u2605
\nAnd I’m satisfied with the large body, finally free from D4 syndrome
\nSo I went ahead and got one! F5

The command dial and such operate smoothly even coming from digital \u25ce
 
\n
 
I considered eight 1.2V AA batteries or a lightweight LiPo battery, but…
\nThe hassle and the cost of the battery, charger, and MS-30 modification kit are questionable
\nIt’s approaching the price of the camera itself

The MF-28 that’s expensive if you buy it later \u2605
\nYou don’t really need it, right?
\nThere’s something subtly high-tech about it that screams 20th century \u25ce
